Welcome to the Communication Area in the Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC Chapel Hill. In the Communication Area, faculty and students engage in an in-depth study of business communication-related processes and practices—oral and written—among individuals, small groups, within organizations, and to the public.

Our faculty’s excellent and cutting-edge teaching skills and research in communication provide top quality education for Kenan-Flagler’s undergraduate and MBA students. As engaged educators, researchers, and practitioners, our faculty members have extensive teaching experience at diverse institutions; have won teaching awards at the undergraduate and graduate levels; regularly present at international, national, and regional conferences; and research and publish in a variety of areas and venues.
