I am a Ph.D. candidate in Finance at Kenan-Flagler Business School, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am currently on the job market this year. My advisors are Professor Riccardo Colacito and Professor Eric Ghysels.
My research interests are in the areas of Macro Finance, Empirical Asset Pricing and Financial Econometrics. My current research focuses on the role of skewness in beliefs of both macro fundamentals and individual stocks in predicting market aggregated future returns and cross section of stocks returns.
Before studying at UNC, I received my MS degree in Statistics at University of Minnesota at Twin Cities in 2009. I grew up in China and received BS degree in Statistics and Mathematics at Beijing Normal University in 2007.
